If you open the door to my freezer, you may be shocked to find it mostly filled with containers and jars full of insects of all sizes. My husband, Casey, is an entomologist. His career path is the reason we live in Louisiana, where the bugs grow big and congregate in large numbers.
Casey and I planned a special trip to Austin, TX because we had heard the city was dog friendly and we were far from disappointed!
During my grandparent's visit, we spent some time exploring Northern California. There was a special area of the Redwoods Casey and I liked to visit, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.

While canoeing on the Buffalo River we met a couple who told us about a trail they had hiked. They said it had a few caves and a waterfall, and that a secret cave was hidden behind a waterfall.
